Day 1: Arrival at Paro and transfer to Thimphu (~ 1 hr drive)
Drive to Thimphu (~ 1 hour). Explore some of the important sites in Thimphu.
Day 2: Thimphu sightseeing
Full day sightseeing in Thimphu.
Day 3: Thimphu to Punakha
Drive to Punakha (~ 3 hrs) with a stop at the Dochula pass (3100 m). Sightseeing in Punakha.
Day 4: Punakha to Gangtey valley
Drive to Gangtey valley (~ 3 – 4 hrs). Sightseeing and/or hiking.
Day 5: Gangtey to Bumthang
Drive to Bumthang (~ 6 hrs) with sightseeing in Trongsa on the way.
Day 6: Bumthang valley exploration
Attend the Jambay Lhakhang Drup festival in the morning. Sightseeing in the afternoon.
Day 7: Bumthang
Attend the Praklhar Duchoed festival
Day 8: Chamkhar to Tang valley
Drive to Tang valley. Explore the beautiful Tang valley and spend the night at Tang.
Day 9: Bumthang to Punakha
Drive to Punakha (~ 7- 8 hrs). Some sightseeing along the way.
Day 10: Punakha to Paro
Drive to Paro (~3.5 hrs). Sightseeing in Paro.
Day 11: Paro sightseeing
Hike to the Tiger’s nest monastery (Taktshang). Visit a local farm house and experience a traditional hot stone bath.
Day 12: Departure
Drive to the Paro International Airport where our representatives will bid you goodbye!
