Day 1: Arrival at Paro
After checking in to your hotel, do some birding along Pa Chhu (river).
Day 2: Paro to Thimphu
In the morning, drive to Chelela pass for birding. Drive to Thimphu.
Day 3: Thimphu to Punakha
Drive to Punakha (~ 3 hrs) with a stop at the Dochula pass (3100 m) for birding.
Day 4: Punakha
Birding at Jigme Dorji National Park.
Day 5: Punakha to Gangtey/Phobjikha valley
Do birding along the Pho Chhu river in Punakha. Drive to Gangtey (~ 4 hrs).
Day 6: Gangtey to Paro
After an early breakfast, drive to Pelela pass for birding. Drive to Paro with some birding stops along the way.
Day 7: Paro
Drive to the base and hike to the Tiger’s nest monastery (Taktshang).
Day 8: Departure
Drive to the Paro International Airport where our representatives will bid you goodbye!
