Day 1: Arrival at Samdrupjongkhar
Drive from Guwahati, India to Samdrupjongkhar (~ 3-4 hrs). Birding between Samdrupjongkhar and Deothang. Overnight in Samdrupjongkhar.
Day 2: Samdrupjongkhar
Whole day birding between Samdrupjongkhar and Deothang. Overnight: camp at Narphungla
Day 3: Trashigang
Drive to Trashigang from the campsite with stops at Rongthong and Kanglung. Overnight in Trashigang.
Day 4: Trashigang to Yongkola
Drive to Yongkola with a stop at the Koerila pass and Lingmithang for birding. Overnight: camp at Yongkola.
Day 5: Yongkola to Sengor
Full day birding near Sengor. Overnight: camp at Sengor.
Day 6: Sengor to Bumthang
Drive to Bumthang with birding stops along the way. Overnight in Bumthang.
Day 7: Bumthang to Punakha
Drive to Punakha. En-route stop at Yotongla pass for birding. Overnight in Punakha.
Day 8: Punakha to Thimphu
In the morning, birding at the Jigme Dorji National Park. In the afternoon, drive to Thimphu. Overnight in Thimphu.
Day 9: Thimphu sightseeing
Drive to the north and bird in the Tango Cheri area and along Wang chu (river). Overnight in Thimphu.
Day 10: Thimphu to Paro
Drive to Chelela pass (~ 2 hrs). Birding at the pass. Drive to Paro. Overnight in Paro.
Day 11: Paro sightseeing
Hike to the Tiger’s nest monastery (Taktshang). Evening at leisure or do some bird watching along Pa Chu (river). Overnight in Paro.
Day 12: Departure
Drive to the Paro International Airport where our representatives will bid you goodbye!
