Day 1: Arrival at Paro
You will be received by our representative and checked in to your hotel. Paro sightseeing including a short hike.
Day 2: Paro
Hike to the Tiger’s nest monastery (Taktshang). Explore Paro town.
Day 3: Paro to Thimphu
Drive to Thimphu (~ 1 hour). Sightseeing in Thimphu.
Day 4: Thimphu sightseeing
Enjoy sightseeing in Thimphu including short hikes.
Day 5: Thimphu to Punakha
Drive to Punakha (~ 3 hrs) with a stop at the Dochula pass (3100 m). Sightseeing in Punakha.
Day 6: Punakha to Gangtey valley
Drive to Gangtey valley (~ 3 – 4 hrs). Take a short hike in Gangtey.
Day 7: Gangtey to Punakha
Sightseeing in Gangtey and drive to Punakha.
Day 8: Punakha to Paro
Punakha sightseeing in the morning. Drive to Paro (~ 3.5 hrs).
Day 9: Paro Tsechu
Attend one of the most popular festivals, the Paro Tsechu. Drive to the Chelela pass (3988m).
Day 10: Departure
Drive to the Paro International Airport where our representatives will bid you goodbye!
