This Monastery was renovated by Her Majesty The Queen Mother Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck sometime in 2010. It is a beautiful 2.5 hours (3.5 km) uphill hike from Dochula pass. This hike is beautiful especially in Spring with rhododendrons and other flowers blooming.
