Gangzur village is well known for pottery in Bhutan. It is about two kilometers from the Lhuentse Dzong. The women from the village are skilled artisans and adept in the art of pottery. Pottery is a dying art in Bhutan and as such, the Government is now trying to revive the art by providing financial support.
