Bhutan Driving Distances!
Being a Himalayan country, as one can imagine, the roads are very windy. Most of the roads except for a few new highways in the Capital City, Thimphu have two lanes (one going each direction). There are no automated traffic lights in Bhutan. In busy intersections, you will find policemen directing traffic manually from a podium. Like most countries in Asia, traffic in Bhutan drives on the left side of the road!
